  • Investigate biochemical life processes, cellular organization, mechanisms of inheritance, dynamic relationships among organisms, and changes in organisms through time in the context of the local environment using science and engineering practices.

  • Consider tangible solutions to real-world environmental biology problems or issues, creating a product that meets a need for an authentic audience. 

  • Emphasize the importance of research and fieldwork that validates and or challenges ideas

  • Study advanced biology content in preparation for advanced placement sciences such as AP Environmental Science and Dual Enrollment Biology in the Environment
