  • Engage in topics related to each body system’s anatomy and physiology, pathology, laboratory testing and clinical procedures, therapeutic interventions, and pharmacology

  • Explore the role of technology in the healthcare field

  • Learn about the healthcare delivery system, including health careers, common medical specialities, types of healthcare settings, and patient care services

  • Apply mathematical principles to solutions and dilutions, intravenous drug calculations, and pediatric/geriatric dosing.

  • Learn ratios, rates, and proportions

  • Practice probability, data collection, and medical research

  • Honors science credit requires additional complex application of the content. This can be demonstrated through additional lab work, student research projects or an equivalent
