• Rigorous course compacting concepts from 6th, 7th, and 8th grade SOLs

• Use patterns, estimation, and proportional reasoning to solve problems with integers and rational numbers

• Apply proportional relationships as well as analyze relations and functions using tables, graphs, and rules

• Investigate and apply properties of geometry and algebraic concepts as well as analyze and interpret data

This course is one option for Level One students in the IBMYP. Students entering the IBMYP at grade 6 will be placed appropriately based on their prior mathematical background, preparation and assessment.

Students will take the Grade 7 Math SOL test
