Comprehensive challenging curriculum that explores various career pathways for students who are interested in medical careers.
Research-based instructional practices help students to develop collaboration, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills for success.
A variety of real-life, hands-on skills training for a medical career to achieve industry certifications/licenses.
Optional college courses are taught by selected HCPS teachers and credentialed as adjunct professors with JSRCC.

All students must successfully complete the Economics and Personal Finance course.
All Health and Medical elective courses require Work-Based Learning hours with direct client/patient care

Preparation for industry certifications and licenses in the following areas: Workplace Readiness, National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), National Health Science Assessment, National Academy of Sports Medicine Sports Performance Specialist (PES), CPR/First Aid, Lifeguard, Learn to Swim, National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nursing (NCLEX-PN), Elanco Veterinary Medical Applications Certification, Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

AP Biology is not a required 12th grade course. It is solely the ACE health and medical specialties for upperclassmen and science electives are choice.
Fees
Each dual enrollment class will have a $50 fee.
