Description

  • Build on knowledge gained in Culinary Arts I

  • Apply nutritional principles, plan menus, use business and mathematics skills, select and maintain food services equipment, and adhere to safety and sanitation standards in a hands-on environment

  • Discover methods, learn skills and apply baking and pastry-preparation techniques (e.g., demonstrate mise en place for baking and pastries, etc.) 

  • Explore careers, postsecondary education, and entrepreneurial opportunities within the field of culinary arts
